The Climate Pledge Arena is a groundbreaking venue in Seattle, renowned for its focus on sustainability. From its operations to its performances, every aspect prioritizes environmental responsibility, making it a leader in climate conservation.
The Challenge
The task before us was to weave the existing Climate Pledge brand into a unique aesthetic for the arena that shares its name. This objective primarily demanded the creation of an adaptable and comprehensive visual design system, designed to blend seamlessly across all possible facets and surfaces within the arena. The solution should aim to enhance the experience of guests visiting the arena to experience their favorite the teams, musicians, and entertainers, while having the capacity to swiftly and dynamically conform to all areas within the venue.

Working closely with the architects, engineers, PR, and many other stakeholders, we developed this look and feel for the stadium branding, crafted system guidelines and supported the production for many of the launch materials for the arena opening.
Results
The new design system greatly enhanced the Climate Pledge Arena's grand opening, offering a consistent yet adaptable aesthetic that visitors appreciated. It also emphasized the Arena's commitment to sustainability, a feature that's now key to its identity. Positive media coverage of this innovative design further boosted the successful launch.
